Cath's Epic TOH AU's!!

Hello, and welcome to my website! This page is dedicated to housing all of the lore/art relating to my TOH AU's, which are all mainly centered around the Collector and my idea for his world. If you enjoy my work, feel free to check out my other socials, where I will post more frequently, and post updates to these AUs first.

King/Collector Brothers AU

CW's: death, genocide, depression, general mental health struggles

SYNOPSIS:This AU takes place in a timeline where Eda found the Collector's disk shortly after adopting King, considering it another random artifact to make some extra snails off of. Unfortunately for her, it actually contained a very chaotic child whom she hardly knew of its origins. In short: the Collector and King grow up together as brothers, and the Collector, who gains the new name "Enzo" (sorry), gets proper parenting from Eda. His personality (and later physical appearance) alter in this AU, to be more fitting of his more mature personality. But that comes with its own consequences...

THINGS TO NOTE!!- I made this AU before season 3 came out, so a bit of the lore doesn't exactly conform to the show... I won't exactly be changing it though, as it is a big part of why this AU exists.- YES, I know, the Collector's actual name in this AU is Enzo. I know it is silly, but I genuinely couldn't think of something better. It is easy for new readers to get the memo that "oh, he is called Enzo here" since, well, most of you know the meme... If this name genuinely makes you mad though, idk what to say, don't read it then.

LORE INFO:- The Collector initially fell upon the demon realm as a little baby. A young titan named Talon, who happens to be King's father, finds him all alone, and decides to take him in, and eventually makes the decision to raise him. The Collector is named "Star", before learning of his true origins through the titan trappers.- The Collector, when he is older, comes to the realization of how Talon was disowned by his family, and how he was forced to live alone. This drives the collector into a rage, and wishes to get revenge on all of the other titans for hurting Talon. This quickly spirals out of control, and, well, you can guess what the outcome turns out to be...- The Collector returns after many years to show Talon how they have brought him "a gift", which was the reality of what they had done to not just his family members, but all of the other titans. (so much time has passed that now Talon himself is fully grown). Of course, Talon is NOT happy about this, and expresses his concerns as calmly to the Collector has he can (the Collector still was like a little brother to him, after all...). The Collector doesn't take this well though, and is confused and hurt why, after they spent all of these years getting rid of people he assumed Talon was hurt by, was now unwanted. They get into a fight, which results in the collector killing Talon, after he sacrifices himself to protect King (Collector is also NOT happy about him going about and having a son, as it feels like another jab to the wound).- In the present, the Collector actually comes to terms that he was in the wrong, but also faces the horror of, well, committing genocide. He also feels immense guilt being around King, as not only is he the cause of him being the very last titan, but also because of his direct connection to his father, Talon. As King grows older, he seems to become more and more like his father every day.- A major part of this AU is the Collector dealing with his grief and morality, as he contemplates if them as a person should even be offered this kindness from King/Eda. And even if they accept him for who they are, there is still the constant nightmares about hurting more people, and the fear of King letting him free.- Now, about Belos: he totally still exists and ends up coming to the Demon realm and doing classic uncool Philip stuff. He does not however discover the Collector, which in turn allows Eda to find them. That, of course, doesn't stop Belos at all. He rather quickly acknowledges the existence of multiple Collectors, and in turn, is able to find a different one: Quill, the "false collector".- Quill, as his title suggests, isn't actually a collector at all, but a different race of the other celestial beings that the Collectors belong to (See my Collector Realm AU for more info about the races). He attempts to tell Belos this, but since Quill still has the information he needs, he didn't really care all that much. Quill just happened to be a stubborn individual, and sometimes needed a "controlled shock" to become compliant...
